This story is a platform to tell Caryn’s story, spotlighting her at-home art studio classes where she inspires the people of Oviedo to set aside time to be creative and express themselves. I also unpack her work with the Oviedo Public Arts Board where they create artistic masterpieces around the city.

It is a truly special occurrence when a High School student reaches out to help people in need. Oviedo High School’s Charlie Cowser is truly making a difference. Through his work with the Best Buddies Program, he is breaking stereotypes associated with students that have disabilities and his outreach has prepared him for a successful future.

In this story, I explore how social media can be helpful and harmful to teens looking to make decisions on political issues. I also speak with multiple students at Oviedo High School to hear their opinions on their experience with social media's influence on political information.

Each year, Kaleigh's Dream Foundation collects hundreds of donated prom dresses in order to host their charity event "Kaleigh's Closet". The event's purpose is to provide affordable prom dresses to young girls in the community to decrease the expense of the occasion. In this story, reporter Delaney Warner and I take a deep dive into the non-profit organization and discover the personal, heartfelt reason behind the glitz and glamour.
