Personal Statement |
My name is Kaylin Herbet. I am 19 years old and I have found a passion in journalism that I want to continue to pursue for the rest of my life. If I could go back in time and change things about my life, I know for certain that I would never change the decision that I made the summer of my rising 9th-grade year to take “WROR-TV”, the television production class at the big, scary high school down the road. I can admit that I don’t remember my thought process in making that decision. My Mom says she never suggested it and was very surprised by my choice. But I have to commend my younger self for seeing something special in that large selection of electives and choosing to take a leap of faith and pursue something different from the norm. |
